We facilitate strategy awaydays and business planning events. Here are some examples of what we do:

Sheffield Hallam University

Like most universities, Sheffield Hallam is facing up to the challenge of increasing student expectations and diminishing resources. 21^st Century Leader has worked with the University's Learning and Teaching institute to launch and support projects aimed at enhancing the student experience.

We have recently worked with Larry to put together a residential programme of workshops and support around facilitating and leading change. Throughout the event Larry was 100% engaged in making it a success. The energy he brought to the event was infectious and was core to the success of the programme. We were confident that he would be able to engage and energise delegates when we booked Larry, but he exceeded our expectations. He was flexible, responsive to the needs of us and our delegates, and pitched his input at exactly the right level. He worked in a variety of ways with our delegates - as a mentor, facilitator, trainer, critical friend - and in each role he was natural, supportive and modelled all the things he spoke about. It has been a pleasure to work with Larry twice over the past couple of years and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

Sibs

Sibs is the UK's national charity for the brothers and sisters of disabled people. We recently facilitated a strategy awayday for the board of trustees.

I benefited greatly when Larry led and facilitated our trustee awayday. The disparate group of seven trustees comprised experienced trustees and those of us for whom it was a new responsibility. Larry's open, engaging and encouraging approach fitted perfectly the expectations and hopes of the group. His expert and effortless use of games, exercises, devices and group work drew from each of us our best contribution at the same time as ensuring we gained insight and understanding both from each other and from Larry. Without doubt we were all engaged and motivated; we all participated and wanted more; we achieved our personal and group objectives and felt the full day to be have been of massive value. Like others before me I am sure, I would look forward to further sessions with Larry as lead and facilitator. Larry is expert, approachable and motivational; integrity, positivity and commitment clearly underpin his winning approach.
